A good off road electric skateboard should have more than just a high range of miles. It should be quick — not because that would be fun, but because you need to have high speed get maneuver past obstacles in a hurry. On the other side, electric skateboards  needs to be able to stop at a moments notice.

It would be a bonus if they were cheap, but if you want quality like most things in life you will need to pay a bit. Therefore, when you are considering buying one you should look out for certain things like durability, connectivity (basically a good mobile app), and most importantly  good customer service.

Sadly, it’s not particularly easy to find electric skateboards that hit all these things but we have done a lot of research and found skateboards with a good price rang $500-$2000 a price range for everyone from the most expensive to the least expensive, without lacking on quality and customer service.

Evolve Skateboards Bamboo GTX Review

The Bamboo GTX is a modified version of the Bamboo GT deck but this electric skateboard has  a massive lithium battery with fine tuned deck flex and  grip-tape.

They then oversized the GT street wheels to a 97mm sizing. And we have to say the result is truly amazing the speeds 26mph with a range of 31mph per charge.

Due to the special shape of the flexible deck it allows comfort on any terrain (including off road).  The Evolve Bamboo GTX has a wide range of riding modes you can use the SLOW mode for easy control and a safe top speed, which  is ideal for beginners or first time users.

Once you are comfortable with the safe mode you can switch up to ECO mode for a ride which is much faster then SAFE mode but not the fastest it can go. Once you consider yourself to be a pro you can switch up to the FAST mode which is for the true adrenaline junkie.

But if you want the fastest speed you can activate the “GT” mode which allows the board to go up to its max speed and we warn you were your safety gear and be prepared if you are on this mode.

It has the ability to go up hills and gradients up to 25% a true off road skateboard that can handle any condition. The Bamboo GTX has great reviews and good customer service a

They have provide a new GT Series Remote, which  gives you instantaneous feedback on your speed, battery level, range and mode selected with a built in LCD screen which is nice touch.
